| For
over two decades, Deery American Corporation has provided
the world’s finest thermoplastic membrane liners
to utilities, mining and mineral companies, and municipal
governments.
Advancements in containment design have accelerated to the
point that conventional lining technologies have reached
their plateau. Increased regulatory and permitting pressures
are creating new challenges for liner designers.
The unique properties of Membrane 6 can help meet those
challenges. Deery’s expertise with hot applied synthetic
rubber membranes is your choice when cost and performance
are prime considerations.
The unique physical characteristics of Membrane 6 make
it the ideal liner where flexibility and elongation
are required. No longer must you sacrifice
tensile strength and puncture resistance for the sake
of elongation.
Stop worrying about stress cracks and seam failures.
The highly elastic properties of Membrane 6 outperform
conventional seamed geomembranes especially when extreme
differential settlement is a problem.
Membrane 6 can be formulated to withstand temperatures
below zero. Unlike polyethylene geomembranes,
Membrane 6 exhibits excellent low temperature flexibility,
further reducing failures caused by brittleness and
stress cracking.
With Membrane 6, safety and maintenance problems are
minimized. On a properly prepared base, Membrane 6 will
support very heavy moving traffic without damage.

Excellent Side Slope Stability |
While competing technologies have added textured products
to their liner solution, Membrane 6 offers excellent
friction resistance at low cost.
As landfill air space becomes more precious, there is
a trend toward higher and steeper side slopes. Since
Membrane 6 is a rubberized material, friction angle
is outstanding.
Designers can use a wider variety of geotextiles and,
in some cases, geotextile for top cover stabilization
may not be necessary. |
Membrane 6 can be applied much thicker than other geomembranes.
Typical applications are between 100 and 200 mils thick.
In addition to the benefits of increased thickness,
Membrane 6 can withstand extreme soil or other material
loading.
We are the ideal solution for leach pads, gypsum stack
liners, or any application where severe loading conditions
exist. Thicker is better.
|
- Ease of application.
- Maintenance problems minimized.
- Side slope stability.
|
 |
Membrane 6 is resistant to a wide range of chemicals
and minerals. When you combine the excellent physical
properties of Membrane 6 with its great stability under
extreme corrosive conditions, you end up with a superior
solution for secondary containment problems. |
| Fast
& Inexpensive to Install |
As a hot applied material, Membrane 6 bonds to itself
as well as flows evenly around pipe penetrations, pump
bases, and other protrusions.
Expensive and time-consuming mechanical seam welding
is eliminated, reducing QA/QC costs significantly. Batten
strips and anchor bolts are not necessary, since Membrane
6 bonds easily to concrete, steel, asphalt – and
a variety of other geomembranes.
Secondary containment installations require half the
installation time of seamed lining systems. Less downtime
means reduced construction costs. Since Membrane 6 bonds
to itself, repairs are easily made using conventional
melting equipment.
Membrane 6 can be applied via power spray or by hand.
Deery American can provide turn-key installations including
custom blended materials when project specifications
call for them. |
